This is not about asking healthcare systems to adopt a finished technology.
It is about bringing healthcare leadership to the design table before the clinical workflows, governance models, interoperability requirements, and commercial practices become entrenched.
TECHNOLOGY SHOULD SERVE MEDICINE. MEDICINE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SERVE THE TECHNOLOGY.
Drone-enabled emergency response will ultimately be measured by more than how quickly an aircraft can reach a crash scene.
It must be usable, safe, private, equitable, interoperable, clinically governed, operationally ready, and trusted by the clinicians, telecommunicators, responders, patients, and communities it is intended to serve.
That means answering critical questions together:
Who should authorize pre-hospital blood deployment? What information does the trauma center need. And when? How should blood banks, EMS, 9-1-1, public safety, and hospitals coordinate? How should patient and vehicle data be protected? How should human clinical judgment remain appropriately embedded in increasingly automated systems?
These are not simply technology questions.
They are healthcare-system questions.
